Open Shift Platform Engineer Key Responsibilities: Architect and deploy OpenShift (OCP) clusters in production environments across bare metal, VMWare, and public cloud platforms. Serve as the primary OCP subject matter expert, driving best practices and standards across the organization. Work closely with internal teams (networking, OS, DB, applications) to integrate services and support workloads. Lead cluster lifecycle operations, including patching, upgrades, and backup/restore strategies for high availability and disaster recovery. Enable workload migration between on-prem and cloud environments (e.g., hybrid deployments) for optimization of performance, cost, and capacity. Drive infrastructure security and hardening, aligning with best practices in regulated and large-scale environments. Automate cluster provisioning and maintenance using CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code principles. Maintain cluster observability and performance using logging, metrics, and alerting tools.
