You will focus on program strategy, execution, stakeholder alignment, dependency management, and delivery across technical teams.\nYou will lead programs from planning through launch and sustaining phases, establish clear operating mechanisms, manage risks and tradeoffs, and drive predictable execution against Motive’s business and product objectives. This role is based in San Francisco with a hybrid work schedule, and you will report to EmmaMarshall, Manager, Technical Program Management.\nYou will thrive in this role if you bring strong technical judgment, structured problem-solving, curiosity, and the ability to create clarity in complex environments. You will serve as a trusted partner to engineering and cross-functional leaders, build consensus across competing priorities, and continuously improve the processes used to deliver high-quality products.\nWhat You’ll Do\nLead end-to-end planning and execution for complex, cross-functional technical programs'\nPartner with hardware, firmware, software, product, operations, quality, supply chain, and external teams to align priorities and drive execution.\nEstablish program plans, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, decision points, and success measures.\nDrive phase-gate reviews, launch-readiness assessments, and go/no-go decisions.\nIdentify technical, operational, and schedule risks and develop mitigation plans with program stakeholders.\nTranslate complex technical discussions into clear decisions, actions, tradeoffs, and escalation paths.\nCommunicate program status, risks, dependencies, and recommendations clearly to team members and leadership.\nImprove cross-functional development processes, operating mechanisms, and program management practices.\nWhat We’re Looking For\n6+ years of experience in technical program management, engineering operations, product development, or a related field.\nExperience leading complex, cross-functional technical programs involving multiple engineering disciplines and partner teams.\nStrong understanding of program planning, dependency management, risk mitigation, launch readiness, and product development processes.\nAbility to understand technical tradeoffs and use structured analysis to guide decisions without owning the underlying engineering design.\nDemonstrated success building consensus and driving execution across teams with competing priorities.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting recommendations and status updates to leadership.\nExperience with program management tools and structured operating mechanisms for tracking milestones, owners, risks, dependencies, and decisions.\n Pay Transparency\nYour compensation may be based on several factors, including education, work experience, and certifications.
