You'll focus on creating a proactive, scalable support function that drives continuous improvement rather than simply reacting to problems.\nKey responsibilities include:\nLeading and developing a team of Data Support Engineers\n\nManaging workloads, priorities, performance and development conversations\n\nActing as the primary point of contact for Moto's third-party data support provider\n\nMonitoring service performance and holding suppliers accountable against agreed SLAs\n\nManaging escalations, incidents and support requests across the data and reporting landscape\n\nDriving improvements to data quality and identifying recurring issues at source\n\nWorking closely with Data Platform and Analytics teams to prioritise changes and enhancements\n\nImplementing automation, monitoring and alerting to reduce manual intervention\n\nEnsuring users have access to the training, documentation and support required to self-serve where possible\n\nProducing regular service performance reporting and insights for leadership teams\n\nSupporting governance, compliance and information security requirements across data services.\n\nWhat You’ll Bring\nWe're looking for a people-focused leader with strong service management experience and a passion for delivering excellent support.\nExperience managing an IT, data support or managed service function\n\nA track record of leading and developing high-performing teams\n\nExperience managing third-party suppliers and service level agreements\n\nKnowledge of ITIL or similar service management frameworks\n\nAn understanding of business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Qlik\n\nFamiliarity with modern data platforms and technologies such as Snowflake, dbt, Prefect or similar solutions\n\nStrong stakeholder management skills and the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences\n\nExcellent organisational skills and experience managing service performance metrics\n\nConfidence leading meetings, presenting updates and building relationships across multiple business functions\n\nIt would be great if you also have\nExperience working within hospitality, retail, forecourt or multi-site operations\n\nKnowledge of data governance, data quality or information security\n\nUnderstanding of operational systems such as EPOS, labour management, inventory or workforce data.\n\nWhy Moto?\nThis is an opportunity to join a growing Data, Analytics & AI function at a time of significant investment and transformation.
