We are currently focusing on bringing in an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer, and this role will be pivotal in helping us achieve our team's goals.Job Description\nWe are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to play a key role\nin operating, integrating, and leading security solutions across the organization. This position involves deep hands-on work in tech-rich environments, end-to-end ownership of enterprise-grade security solutions, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.\nKey Responsibilities\nOperations integration: deployment, configuration, tuning, and optimization of cybersecurity solutions across On-Premises and Enterprise environments (Firewalls, WAF, PAM/PIM, NAC, Endpoint Security, and Database Security).\nThreat detection & remediation: defining SIEM/XDR rules, analytics, and detection logic, as well as driving remediation plans based on penetration testing (PT) findings and risk assessments.\nVendor & technology management: managing day-to-day interfaces with security vendors, leading Tier-3 troubleshooting, and managing complex integrations.\nGuidance & support: providing technical leadership, guidance, and advanced escalation support to internal SOC and NOC teams.\nInnovation & research: continuously researching, evaluating (POCs), and implementing new security tools and industry methodologies.\nBasic Requirements\n3+ years of hands-on experience operating and deploying at least 2 of the following: Firewalls, WAF, PAM/PIM, NAC, Endpoint Security, and Database Security.\n\nB.Sc. in Computer Science / Engineering, OR background in a military technology unit, OR equivalent industry experience.\n\nA mandatory formal cybersecurity certification.\n\nWillingness to undergo a Level 2 Security Clearance process.\n\nHigh self-learning capability, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong team-player mindset.\n\nNice-to-Haves:\nAn active Level 2 Security Clearance.\n\nHands-on experience with solutions from Fortinet, Symantec, or Imperva.\n\nDeep knowledge of SIEM rule writing, analytics, and playbook creation.\n\nRecognized certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) or official vendor certifications.\n\nExperience in high-security, heavily compliant environments.\n\nLocation: Beer Sheva area.\nScope: Full-time, long-term position.\nTravel Requirements\nNoneRelocation Provided\nNonePosition Type\nExperiencedReferral Payment Plan\nNoCompany\nMotorola Solutions Israel LimitedEEO Statement\nMotorola Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
