The successful individual in this role will support StreamCaster™ MANET product development and manufacturing.\nThe is a fully onsite position requiring overnight hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 pm to 5:00 am. The location for this role is Silvus Technologies’ HQ in the heart of vibrant West LA.\nThe following is a list of at least some of the current essential job functions of the position. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities at any time at its discretion.\nROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nLead inspection and repair activities for complex PCB assemblies.\nConduct root cause analysis and failure diagnostics using advanced tools.\nPerform functional testing and repair on customer-returned units (RMAs).\nSupport and train junior technicians on proper inspection, soldering, and ESD practices.\nMaintain and calibrate specialized test and diagnostic equipment.\nCollaborate closely with Engineering to resolve recurring product issues.\nBuild and validate test fixtures and jigs used for production verification.\nPerform other related duties of which the above are representative.\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\nHigh School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on electronics experience; OR an Associate’s degree in Electronics, with 2 years of relevant experience.\nAdvanced soldering and rework proficiency (fine-pitch SMT, BGAs, micro coax).\nStrong troubleshooting skills using schematics and test instruments.\nExperience documenting and communicating technical findings to engineers.\n Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to clients under U.S. federal contracts.\n All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check and drug test.\nPREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES\nCertified IPC Specialist (CIS) under IPC-A-610 or IPC-J-STD 001.\nFamiliarity with RF and high-speed digital circuit testing.\nExperience with Linux-based diagnostic tools.\nProven leadership and mentoring experience.\nComfortable in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary production environment.\nWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nOccasional exposure to heat and cold.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to do the following:Perform bending and reaching movements to place items on lower and higher shelves.\nKneeling or squatting to access lower shelves.\nMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs. when receiving incoming part shipments.\nWalking/Moving in the labs.\n\nCOMPENSATION: $35.64 - $38.02 / hourly\nConsistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity.
