The team is responsible for developing and maintaining sophisticated and highly reliable communications, infrastructure and networking products for Mission Critical and commercial communication products across a variety of global markets and standards. The RF Site Hardware Engineering team develops state of the art Digital, RF, Mechanical and Power Supply solutions to meet our customer’s needs.Job Description\nDevelops, designs, models, and tests radio frequency transmitters and receiver circuit subsystems. Works on multi-disciplinary teams responsible for integrated product designs.\nThe candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing power amplifiers, receivers, VCO’s and PLL’s. The initial assignment will consist of developing a RF circuit for the next generation of infrastructure products operating in the VHF through 900 MHz bands. Other assignments could consist of supporting field issues or end-of-life components related to RF circuits on legacy products.\nThe candidate is expected to have RF circuit knowledge, basic power amplifier knowledge, and communication theory understanding. He/she should enjoy hands-on building and debugging of circuits. During the development phase of a project, the candidate would work closely with other engineers, suppliers and the factory. Some travel may be required.\nDesired Qualifications:Strong background in RF circuit theory and simulation tools such as ADS.\nWorking knowledge of Cadence Allegro Design Entry HDL and PCB Layout Editor or similar tools.\nWorks autonomously but able to work effectively with other engineering disciplines.\nSound analytic skills and able to troubleshoot circuits quickly.\nAbility to manage multiple concurrent design projects.\nSummarizes complex technical concepts clearly.\nGood writing and communication skills.\nWorking knowledge of Labview is a plus.\nHaving an Amateur Radio License is a plus.\n\nTarget Base Salary Range: $73,800 - $97,600 USD\nConsistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity.
