Connect with a career that matters, and help us build a safer future.\nDepartment Overview\nWithin Motorola Solutions & Services Mexico, this department manages the strategic planning and tactical implementation of awarded contracts, spanning both System Implementation and ongoing Support and Maintenance.Job Description\nDevelop and implement post-sales strategies to install, set up, and provide ongoing support for intricate radio and telecommunications systems, catering to both internal stakeholders and external clients throughout the Pre-Sales and Post-Sales stages.\nMain Responsibility Area:\nPre-Sales:\nFrom a technical standpoint, provide support to the sales team throughout all phases of the RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes.\nAssist the engineering sales group by contributing to the design process, specifically regarding system architecture and technical capabilities.\nAid the engineering team with technical tasks including coverage mapping, antenna system configuration, and frequency planning.\nPost Sales (Projects):\nConduct comprehensive surveys for both core and remote locations following standard installation protocols to evaluate technical prerequisites for project setup. This includes assessing space, power, grounding, towers, antenna systems (Rx/Tx), IP networking, demarcation points, and backhaul transport.\nDevelop a specialized technical roadmap for solution deployment.\nManage the end-to-end installation sequence at core and remote facilities.\nConfigure and install all solution components, ranging from transceivers and antennas to routers, switches, core infrastructure, and associated applications. \nCarry out onsite technical implementation tasks to ensure the project aligns strictly with the original technical proposal.\nMaintain detailed records of all installation and configuration activities throughout the deployment phase to produce accurate final as-built documentation.\nUtilize analytical and troubleshooting techniques to identify and correct intricate technical problems that affect system performance.\nPerform field-based technical evaluations, including coverage, interference, and intermodulation analysis, alongside frequency planning and reuse strategies.\nDeliver ongoing post-implementation services, including system warranties and routine maintenance for active production systems.\nThe primary purpose of this role involves the strategic planning, deployment, configuration, and ongoing support of sophisticated radio telecommunications networks, utilizing state-of-the-art tools across diverse technologies.\n#LI-AN1\nBasic Requirements\nBasic Requirements\nBachelor of Engineering degree (Telecommunications, Computer Systems, Informatics, or a related discipline)\nBetween 3 to 5 years of professional experience within a comparable technical setting\nProficiency in identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex technical issues\nCapability to fulfill travel requirements of up to 50%\nEnglish proficiency at a B1-B2 level or an equivalent standard\nCore Technical Competencies\nComprehension of performance standards for antennas and transceivers\nAdvanced networking expertise, including IP protocols and mastery of switching and routing\nExpert-level command of the OSI model\nComprehensive knowledge of various Linux OS distributions\nProficiency in server virtualization technologies\nSolid foundation in cybersecurity principles\nProfessional certifications in any of the aforementioned technologies are strongly preferred.\nComplementing the requirements above, the following technical competencies are highly valued:\nProven experience with Land Mobile radio communication systems, specifically P25, Tetra, and DMR protocols\nPractical knowledge of API integration\nExpertise in both fixed and mobile video solution deployments\nDesired Documentation:\nValid Passport\nCurrent Driver's License\nValid U.S. B1/B2 Visa\nTravel Requirements\n25-50%Relocation Provided\nNonePosition Type\nExperiencedReferral Payment Plan\nNoEEO Statement\nMotorola Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
