We deploy and support products such as Emergency Call Handling, 911 Equipment, Computer Aided Dispatch, Records Management Systems, Jail Management Systems and Mobile Data Computing, among other offerings.Job Description\nThe Emergency Call Handling (ECH) Field Engineer will report to the ECH Field Engineer Manager. The Field Engineer is ultimately accountable for the system being implemented based on the site design specifics, including the on-site configuration, testing, cut, and post-cut support for Motorola’s on-premise and cloud-hosted ECH solutions.\nThis is a Remote position and candidates can be located anywhere in the US. There will be in excess of 75% travel US and International.\nResponsibilities:\nPerforms system configuration for all supported and assigned ECH solutions, including hybrid cloud and SaaS-based applications.\nPerforms site verification testing prior to cutting a site into a production environment.\nConfigures and troubleshoots connectivity between local site infrastructure and cloud-hosted application environments.\nProvides support to Customer and Channel Partners while deploying the ECH solution into a production environment.\nDocuments all changes to the solution, including cloud tenant configurations and API integrations, that may occur during the implementation phase of the project.\nEnsures that installation/quality issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.\nParticipates in the development and approval of Methods of Procedure (MOP) for cloud migrations and system upgrades.\nParticipates in pre-contract oral presentations and customer negotiations as required.\nMaintains subject matter expert skills in emerging cloud-native public safety technologies.\nPreferred Skills/Qualifications:\nCollege Degree in Engineering, IT, or Technology\n3+ years of experience in the deployment or Integration of complex IP products and systems.\nRelevant Cloud Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner,\nMicrosoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals) are a plus.\nCompTIA Network+ AND Security+\nExperience with Cloud-based application troubleshooting, including connectivity, latency analysis, and identity management (SSO/Active Directory).\nExperience with installation, administration, and troubleshooting of: Server Virtualization, specifically with VMWare ESXi v.6+ and/or\nMicrosoft Hyper-V 2012+.\nDatabase Servers, specifically with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2201220162022.\nServer Operating Systems, specifically Windows Server 201220162022.\nWorkstation Operating Systems, specifically Windows 10 & 11.\nLinux.\nNetwork Switches, preferably with Cisco IOS.\nBasic knowledge of Firewalls and Routers, preferably with Fortinet FortiGate\nCandidate must possess telephony knowledge related to analog lines and PRI up to and including troubleshooting and physical configuration/termination \nCandidate must be familiar with ACD call routing and provisioning\nCandidate must be familiar with SIP interfaces and call flow ladders for troubleshooting and provision the SBC \nCandidate must possess basic Active Directory knowledge pertaining to account segregation and role assignments \nCandidate must be able to operate independently utilizing various guides and remote support options\nCandidate must be able to self-manage time based on objectives and goal requirements as part of the deployment team \nCandidate ideally should be familiar with virtual machine deployments and hosted systems, ESXI/KVM RedHat Candidate ideally should be familiar with Cisco switch configurations \nCandidate must possess or be eligible for a US passport for international travel up to 75%\nServer hardware / Workstation hardware.\nPrevious experience in Public Safety Applications deployment and integration, and/or operations and administration preferred.\nExercises judgment in the selection of methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.\nAbility to apply critical thinking skills to solve problems and make decisions.\nMust be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract.\nTarget Base Salary Range: $90.000 - $100,000 USD\nConsistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity.
