The work we do here matters.The Specialty Cameras Engineering team is responsible for developing cameras for special applications, such as ALPR (Automatic License Plate Recognition) cameras for traffic management and surveillance. The products are aimed at public and commercial safety. The team is responsible for the development of the firmware, taking care of the entire development life cycle, from development to testing and maintenance of the systems we build.\nJob Description\nAs a Firmware developer in Vietnam, you will join a scrum team working on the firmware that powers the ALPR and surveillance cameras we develop. Working in close collaboration with other departments, engineers in this team excel at developing applications and drivers under Linux, and have a variety of backgrounds and specializations. The team uses modern C++ to develop highly reusable code, and utilize state- of-the-art systems and tools throughout the development life cycle.\nDesign and implement sophisticated scalable multi-threaded Object Oriented Software in C++ for solving challenging problems involving high speed data processing and networking\n\nDesign advanced software modules that follow modern C++ design patterns\n\nDeploy AI models on various platforms, such as NVIDIA and Ambarella.\n\nApply C programming skills for Linux device driver development and debugging\n\nApply problem solving skills and experience to identify and improve low-level system performance issues\n\nCreate design documents on software architecture and algorithms\n\nCollaborate with Hardware designers on board bring-up and debug\n\nReview code of peers for adherence to coding standards and design guidelines\n\nCollaborate with Quality Assurance team on identifying test cases for new features and areas for regression tests\n\nFollow the established development process for all design and implementation tasks\n\nProvides mentorship and coaching to junior developers\n\nBasic Requirements\nGraduated from a university specializing in Information Technology, with 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in C/C++ and Linux application development\n\nProficient in C/C++ programming languages\n\nExperience or knowledge in developing applications for edge devices and Linux-based systems\n\nFamiliar with image and video processing libraries such as OpenCV, FFmpeg, and GStreamer\n\nExperience or knowledge in deploying neural network models on hardware platforms such as NVIDIA or Ambarella chips\n\nGood listening and speaking skills in English\n\nDetail-oriented, hardworking, and capable of working under high pressure\n\nTravel Requirements\nNoneRelocation Provided\nNonePosition Type\nExperiencedReferral Payment Plan\nNoEEO Statement\nMotorola Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
