Connect with a career that matters, and help us build a safer future.\nDepartment Overview\nGlobal Supply AssuranceJob Description\nRuns and participates in Supply Resilience reviews with the Category Managers and Executive teams\nUnderstands those key products impacting each business, key Customers, and what is preventing our suppliers from building\nDrives each gating item to resolution with both the Purchasing teams, Category Teams, Suppliers, Engineering, and Exec team\nLooks at all possible options to resolve including: distribution, Alternative suppliers, Expedited freight, etc\nUnderstands current Lead-Times and what the long pole is for our key suppliers, drives to reduce these Lead-times\nWorks with the Business Teams to understand both short and long-term forecast and the communication to the teams.\nParticipates in driving potential alternate suppliers\nUnderstands key shortages both short and long term.\nDrives overall shortage Metrics\nProvides training to sites on escalation guidelines, monitoring to make sure the teams are following the guidelines\nEffectively communicates long-term supply concerns, drives solutions\nOther duties as assigned\nBasic Requirements\nCandidate must have at least a Bachelor's Degree in Business/Management or equivalent from an accredited college or university\n Minimum 5 years of experience working in purchasing, procurement, materials position(s) in a Supply Chain organization.\nStrong operational Purchasing, Procurement background required\nGood written and verbal communication to our suppliers and internal \nExperience using Oracle MRP and electronic supplier collaboration tools\nMotivated and energetic to accomplish task and goals\nStrong negotiation, analytical, communication, relationship and organization skill\nAble to develop and collaborate solutions to Motorola internal customer\nRelationship builder, strong customer service focus and change Agent\nAbility to work with minimal supervision &strong execution Focus \nFlexible to support multiple time zone and working with people of various cultures.\nFlexibility to support across different time zone\nTravel Requirements\nNoneRelocation Provided\nNonePosition Type\nExperiencedReferral Payment Plan\nNoEEO Statement\nMotorola Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
