The department delivers a server platform solution for the ASTRO 25, the world's most widely used P25 mission-critical voice and data communication network.Job Description\nWe are looking for an Intern DevOps Engineer to join the ASTRO DevOps team, supporting mission-critical ASTRO Public Safety Systems. In this role, your core focus will be infrastructure deployment and automation using Ansible, bridging software delivery with reliable system provisioning across hybrid environments.\nWorking alongside experienced engineers, you will help design, build, and maintain automated infrastructure deployments of on-premises environments. You will use Ansible to turn manual setup into reliable, repeatable code, while integrating these deployments into our broader Jenkins and release pipelines.\nThis is an ideal growth position for a student or junior technologist looking to build practical, real-world DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills at enterprise scale.\nBasic Requirements\nTechnologies/frameworks\nMain focus: Ansible automation and configuration support\nAutomation and scripting: Python, Groovy, Bash\nCI/CD and SCM: Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, Artifactory\nPlatforms: Linux (Red Hat), Windows, KVM\nBasic Requirements\nBasic knowledge of scripting or programming, preferably Python, Groovy or Bash\nBasic knowledge of Git and interest in Jenkins-based CI/CD tooling\nExperience with Linux and confidence using the command line\nBasic experience with Ansible, shared platform support, and operational troubleshooting\nAbility to work in a Scrum team and communicate clearly in English\nAvailability 32 hours per week (minimum)\nAvailability to work 2 days per week in our office in Kraków (Czerwone Maki 82)\nAt least one year of cooperation\nIn addition, we would welcome:\nOne year of experience in DevOps, CI/CD support, system administration, or software engineering\nExposure to Linux, KVM, or AWS environments\nInterest in build/release engineering and internal developer tools\nIn return for your commitment, we will support you with development every step of the way.
