Connect with a career that matters, and help us build a safer future.\nDepartment Overview\nSupply Chain/Software Product OperationsJob Description\nThe Operations Manager - POD Leader for the Emergency Call Handling and Computer Aided Dispatch acts as the central operational driver responsible for daily workflow execution, line prioritization, and cross-functional synchronization across multiple operational lines.\nThis position eliminates floor-level bottlenecks, enforces process discipline, ensures absolute inventory accuracy and serves as the operational bridge between Warehouse Operations, Engineering, Purchasing, and Project Management.\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Operational Planning & Execution\nOversee day-to-day operations across procurement, warehouse management, and transportation systems.\nDevelop and execute inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels, minimize holding costs, and prevent stockouts.\nEstablish standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational consistency and regulatory compliance.\n2. Vendor & Logistics Management\nManage relationships with suppliers, third-party logistics (3PL) providers, and freight carriers to ensure SLA compliance.\nMonitor vendor performance metrics and conduct periodic quality/delivery audits.\n3. Demand Forecasting & Analytics\nPartner with sales and finance teams to analyze demand trends and maintain accurate sales and operations planning (S&OP) forecasts.\nTrack key performance indicators (KPIs), including On-Time In-Full (OTIF), inventory turnover, cycle time, and freight cost per unit.\nLeverage ERP/WMS data to identify process bottlenecks and implement lean continuous improvement initiatives.\nAdditional Qualified Skills:\nTechnical Skills: Advanced proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); strong Excel/data modeling skills.\nCompetencies: Strong negotiation tactics, root-cause analytical problem solving, and cross-functional leadership.\nMaster's or APICS/CSCP certification preferred\nTarget Base Salary Range: $101,100 - $145,000\nConsistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity.
