CCSS is a fast-paced environment that seeks motivated and professional individuals willing to work towards our goals as an organization.Grow professionally, work with cutting-edge technology, and be at the forefront of the public safety sector.\nJob Description\nThe PremierOne (P1) Remote System Admin will be responsible for traveling to customer sites as needed and/or connecting remotely to perform System Administration and application tasks.\nResponsibilities of the Remote System Administrator include but are not limited to:\nProvides tailored technical customer operations support\nDevelops strategies for implementing operational efficiencies by reviewing work flows, procedures, and performance\nExecutes customer operations policies and procedures\nBuilds and maintains positive, effective, and mutually beneficial-working alliances with customers\nInitiates problem solving action and follows through to resolution\nPerforms root-case analysis for problems to formulate and recommend improved alternative operations\nIdentifies and suggests possible system and/or process improvements when applicable\nPerform periodic system maintenance and software patching, in accordance with Motorola Solutions supplied guidelines, on physical and virtual servers covered within the scope of the Maintenance and Service Agreement\nRun diagnostics using approved MSI tools\nProvide system performance reporting using approved MSI tools when requested\nAssist with contractually covered database system back-ups\nUnderstand system dependencies and related connections\nWork with Customer to implement Motorola Solutions Technical Notification (MTN) vulnerability resolution and repair procedures.\nQualifications:\nMinimum of an High School Diploma required, degree preferred\n3+ years of IT or public safety experience\n3+ years Computer Science, Networking, Engineering, System Maintenance experience (public safety system experience preferred)\n3+ years of Public Safety Applications experience involving Records Management Systems, Computer Aided Dispatch, and Mobile CAD/RMS. PremierOne experience preferred\nProven track record working with or deploying enterprise hardware and software solutions; HP preferred\nExperience creating positive working relationships with customers and application end users\nAble to function effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment that regularly requires the ability to multitask\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nComfortable working both alone and in a team environment\nExperience with Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems (MCSA/MCSE skills)\nExperience with Microsoft SQL Server, ODBC and Ops Manager (SCOM)\nExperience with Public Safety Applications including CAD, Mobile and RMS\nExperience with Virtualization software\nExperienced with Network Load Balancing (NLB) and Clustering\nExperience with hardware blades and Storage Area Networks (SAN); HP preferred\nExperience with firewalls and routers; Fortigate preferred\nFamiliarity with JavaScript, .NET, ESRI 10.X and XML\nAbility to troubleshoot application system issues including hardware, network and third-party components\nThis position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice's \"Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy\" and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers\nTarget Base Salary Range: $105,000-$115,000\nConsistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity.
