Working within a team of sales, service, engineering, and technical support resources, the Presale Solutions Engineer is the overall owner of a solution’s technical design, ensuring we meet our customers’ needs.\nThe engineering team supports the entire ecosystem and concentrates on the following mission-critical technologies at various levels of complexity:\nCritical communications mobile broadband networks and devices\nCritical communications mobile voice and data networks and devices\nIntegrated command and control software solutions\nMobile and fixed video solutions\nBusiness continuity/resiliency and mass notification applications\nCybersecurity\nResponsibilities:\nGathering technical and voice of customer requirements\nSolution design development for infrastructure, devices, backhaul, network and applications\nDeployment, implementation, migration and/or cutover planning\nDesign, develop, maintain and manage portable Ecosystem demonstration kits tailored to Global Enterprise Strategic Accounts verticals\nPartner with Sales to deliver customer presentations, demonstrations and pilots\nParticipate in Sales strategy, system integration and competitive intelligence engagement\nEngage with global Product organizations to promote business development and provide Sales and customer support\nQualifications:\nBachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical or Computer Engineering\nExperience with wireless communications fundamentals and voice/data architectures - both public and private (e.g. APCO P25, DMR, TETRA, LTE, 802.11, 3GPP 4G/5G, FirstNet/Frontline) - highly desirable\nExperience with Cloud (AWS, Azure, etc.), IP networking architecture, protocols and security - highly desirable\nKnowledge of RF coverage predictions, microwave design, traffic/capacity modeling, and related toolsets an asset\nFamiliarity with both fixed and mobile video solutions\nMust show attention to detail and have a flawless execution mindset\nLocation/Travel:\nMust be willing to travel 50% - 75% of the time\nMust be located nearby a major airport\nTarget Base Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000 USD\nConsistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity.
