We are a team with start-up mentality backed with the strength of a global, trusted company.\nJob Description\nAs a Senior Hardware Engineer at Motorola Norway you are involved in all aspects of design, prototyping, test and manufacturing of our products.\nThe position involves:\nTaking responsibility for hardware throughout its full lifecycle - from early concepts and development through industrialization, verification, compliance, release, continuous improvement, and long-term support\nResearching and evaluate emerging/gap technologies \nExamining and experimenting with use cases, test setups\nDesigning, reviewing and supervising all aspects of the electronics in our products \nHardware testing, troubleshooting and qualification\nBeing part of our core hardware team working closely with all other disciplines\nCollaboration with manufacturing and sub-suppliers\nTogether with our video security department, you will get the opportunity to shape our security solution.\nBasic Requirements\nWe are looking for someone with these professional skills:\nMaster’s degree in Electronics design\n5-10 years of experience in hardware product development\nA strong background in hands-on hardware design, with the practical engineering skills needed to make sound design choices. \nPassionate about technology and hardware product development\nLike to take things apart in order to understand how they work\nInterested in scripting and low-level programming\nAnd personal skills:\nIs proficient in English\nHas good analytical and problem-solving skills\nIs enthusiastic, flexible and with a desire to learn\nStructured\nEnjoys building, tinkering and working with their hands\nWe think you could be a good fit if you are a team player who thinks holistically, enjoys solving complex problems and thrives working independently, while not afraid to ask for input and learn from your teammates if you are stuck.\nDoes this sound like you?
