The Software Deployment and Integration services team is responsible for the delivery of Command Center projects to our public safety customers. The projects contained in the Command Center portfolio include large Statewide, Regional and major Municipal Public Safety Applications (CAD, Mobile, Records Management, Crime Analysis, and Jail), Video, Emergency Call Handling/Next Gen 911 solutions, Asset Management Solutions and other applications used in the Command Center.\nResponsibilities:\nLeads large programs or portions of very complex programs up to $10M.\nDirects and coordinates the work activities of project teams.\nPeople management experience a must; may be responsible for managing other project managers or technical people supporting program objectives as direct reports.\nCapable of managing/supervising other disciplines/technology within a project.\nCommunicates with key customer stakeholders.\nCan comprehend and participate with sales on the overall strategy of the project to increase revenue.\nConducts needs assessments and requirements gathering.\nDefines and develops program scope, objectives, detailed plans, budgets and metrics for large projects and/or portions of complex projects.\nManages projects from inception to completion (or transition), including tracking and evaluation of project performance.\nResponsible for adherence to program plan, quality metrics and budgets for projects.\nRecommends corrective actions and implements changes.\nIdentifies and mitigates risks; develops and implements risk mitigation plans.\nProcures internal and external resources.\nAllocates project staff with required competencies to meet project objectives.\nActs as primary interface to internal teams.\nMay manage challenging vendor relationships.\nResponsible for direct communication to relevant senior stakeholders.\nLeads moderately-complex communications and/or negotiations with internal or external clients.\nMay provide input into proposal preparation, statements of work and specifications, and estimation of costs.\nIdentifies and manages program enhancements and process improvements.\nConducts project reviews throughout the life of the project.\nCreates a motivated team environment with support, engineering, other SI resources and resources from other departments, as needed.\nProactively gathers lessons learned throughout the project.\nUtilizes best practice project management methodologies to ensure maximum project effectiveness. \nResponsible for allocating all necessary resources to ensure projects meet financial and customer satisfaction goals.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nRemote position based in the United States.\nMust be willing to travel (75%).\nMust have prior people management experience.\nSkilled in using Microsoft Project and similar applications for project schedule planning.\nExperience with project risk assessment and risk mitigation strategies.\nMust be a self-motivated team player able to work effectively with general guidance toward objectives. \nMust have excellent interpersonal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.\nPMP Certification is preferred.\nMust be able to pass a criminal background check, pass and maintain CJIS Security and Privacy: Privileged Role certification requirements.\nTarget Base Salary Range: $125,000 - $135,000 USD\nConsistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity.
