We are seeking a talented and proactive individual who can contribute to our team’s success and foster a spirit of collaboration within the company.\nJob Description\nYou will join a high-performing team of software engineers, with the ability to work on the backend or full stack, but primarily working on the backend, and taking responsibility for implementing a range of new application features, as well as improving the architecture, performance, scalability, and resilience of the existing product.\nResponsibilities\nDesign and implement clean, modular, scalable, and testable code for the Java backend.\n\nConducting performance analysis and profiling for backend systems and databases, ensuring the system’s scalability and high performance.\n\nApply advanced testing and debugging methods to resolve complex software issues.\n\nWork collaboratively with local and distributed teams in an Agile environment to continuously enhance product functionality.\n\nBasic Requirements\nRequired skills and qualifications\n5+ years of hands-on backend software development, with an in-depth knowledge of core Java/JDK.\n\nSolid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and core software engineering principles.\n\n(Experience designing and implementing high-performance, multithreaded, state-driven systems.\n\nProficiency in creating meaningful automated tests (we use JUnit) and applying advanced testing and debugging techniques.\n\nIn-depth knowledge of relational databases (we use Postgres) and ORM technologies such as Hibernate/JPA.\n\nStrong communication skills with the ability to effectively interface with stakeholders.\n\nExcellent problem-solving skills with a strong capacity for independent work.\n\nAbility to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team in an Agile environment.\n\nCommunicative English\n\nPreferred skills and qualifications\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.\n\nExperience developing REST APIs using JAX-RS, Spring, or similar technologies.\n\n2+ years of experience with Angular or similar modern frontend frameworks.\n\nExperience with E2E testing frameworks such as Playwright or Cypress.\n\nMentorship, coaching, or leadership experience or demonstrable aptitude.\nIn return for your expertise, we’ll support you in this new challenge with coaching & development every step of the way.
