Working in close collaboration with other departments, engineers in this team excel at developing applications and drivers under Linux, and have a variety of backgrounds and specializations. The team uses modern C++ to develop highly reusable code, and utilize state-of-the-art systems and tools throughout the development life cycle.Job Description\nPerform End to End Test on NPI program at device as well as system level.\nDrive test plan development & execution\nDevelop Phyton & scripts automatation to increase coverage and execution speed\nAnalyze the test requirements to create effective and optimal test coverage\nCollaborate with other engineering teams to integrate automated solutions seamlessly\nMaintain Jenkins / CICD pipeline\nPerforms false failure analysis to identify failure patterns, troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing automation test setups\nContinuously evaluate, study, identify opportunities and enhance the automation process for efficiency\nDocument the automation processes and system configurations for future reference if required\nAnalyze, submit, and manage defects.\nWork with the engineering team to produce hypothesis and to reproduce and validate issues\nCreate, upgrade and maintain test tools, infrastructure if required for the tests & test lab\nDevelop and implement machine learning algorithms to enhance AI capabilities in improving automation solutions.\nCreate and maintain documentation for AI model development and deployment processes.\nTest and validate AI models to ensure accuracy and reliability in real-world scenarios.\nVehicle drive testing as needed\nProvide Leadership & Mentorship to the team\nBasic Requirements\n5 to 8+ years of experience in software development and test automation\nBachelor Degree in Information Science / Communication Engineering / Software engineering or related fields\nAdvanced proficiency in Python is mandatory, Javascript, Angular, C, C# or other languages used for scripting\nAutomating RESTful APIs\nCI/CD & Infrastructure: Integrating automated suites into cloud pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) and familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).\nKnowledge of Video Monitoring System, Client-Server Setup, Mobile Application Setup, Photography (Image Quality Knowledge) will be a plus\nKnowledge in Android, IoT, WiFI, LTE, DMR, video are added advantage\nKnowledge in AI - LLM fundamentals, Agentic Testing\nHaving Agile Methodology & using Gen AI in Software Automation and optimizing Quality Processes is a plus\nWorks under general supervision, self-motivated and able to integrate well into a cross-functional team.\nGood English communication, interpersonal skill\nCustomer focused and result oriented.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills along with an attention to detail and understanding of customer impact\nExperience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.\nCandidate must be willing to work in Bayan Lepas, Penang.\nTravel Requirements\nNoneRelocation Provided\nNonePosition Type\nExperiencedReferral Payment Plan\nNoEEO Statement\nMotorola Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
