Join us on our mission to shoot for the stars!Job Description\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:\nDesign, develop, test, and deploy Android applications in accordance with requirements and UI/UX design specifications.\nContribute as an individual engineer on implementing new features or enhancing existing features for the product.\nParticipate in all aspects of the product development process including requirement definition, design, implementation, and testing.\nAnalyze software requirements to determine the feasibility of design within quality assurance, time, and cost constraints.\nCoordinate and participate in software design and code review.\nCreate and execute unit, integration and system tests.\nCollaborate with front-end team and test team to ensure the best solution is always in place to promote successful feature deployment.\nInter-group and intra-group teamwork in a multi-site worldwide development environment.\nTo meet the project's deliverable and timeline requirement in a highly dynamic environment.\nAdhere to the team's performance and quality metrics.\nTo collect and analyze data affecting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).\nDevelop intellectual property for the company.\nContribute to the improvement of existing software development processes.\nBasic Requirements\nMaster’s / Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Telecommunications / Computer Engineering or Computer Science.\nPreferably with 2 - 5 years of working experience in software development.\nFresh graduates / Entry level applicants with strong technical skills are encouraged to apply.\nExperience in real-time embedded software development for communication devices or consumer products will be an added advantage.\nGood programming skills in Android Native language Java and Kotlin\nSolid understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and related tools.\nKnowledge of mobile architecture patterns (MVP, MVVM)\nKnowledge of AOSP & Customizations\nKnowledge / Experience with LTE / DMR specs is a plus.\nSystem debugging and strong analytical skills are essential.\nExperience / Proficiency in Agile / Scrum development methodologies is a plus.\nAbility to work independently and communicate well (verbally & in written form) across different functional teams.\nFlexible to accommodate short notice work arrangements due to project/business needs.\nCandidate must be willing to work in Bayan Lepas, Penang.\nTravel Requirements\nNoneRelocation Provided\nNonePosition Type\nExperiencedReferral Payment Plan\nNoEEO Statement\nMotorola Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
