Our team is situated across various global locations, working collaboratively to develop next-generation solutions and quality standards that serve our customers.Job Description\nWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Engineer to join our dynamic R&D team in Vietnam.\nIn this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge public safety and enterprise communication solutions through comprehensive system testing, meticulous manual testing, and effective defect management using JIRA.\nYou will contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, working closely with development, product, and project teams.\nJob Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for complex software systems, focusing on system-level testing.\nPerform thorough manual testing to identify defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement across various functionalities, user interfaces, and performance aspects.\nCollaborate closely with development teams to understand product requirements, specifications, and architecture, providing early input on testability.\nIdentify, document, and track software defects and issues using JIRA, ensuring clear and concise reporting, prioritization, and follow-up until resolution.\nParticipate in review meetings for requirements, design specifications, and test plans, providing constructive feedback.\nDevelop and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test reports, defect summaries, and test coverage matrices.\nContribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices within the team.\nMentor junior QA engineers and share knowledge to foster a high-performing team environment.\nWork effectively within an Agile/Scrum development methodology.\nConduct regression testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing as required.\nBasic Requirements\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field\n3 - 5 years+ of hands-on experience inmanual, system, and integration testing\nDemonstrated experience testing largescale, high-availability, distributed systems involving both hardware and software components\nProven track record with defect logging, triage processes, and working effectively with development teams\nWorking knowledge of test management tools (Jira, TestRail or similar)\nExcellent communication skills (written and verbal) for collaboration and reporting\nExperience working in an Agile development environment (Scrum/Kanban)\nStrong attention to detail with excellent time management and organizational skills\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and testing effectiveness\nUnderstanding of test automation methodologies and principles\nFamiliarity with security, surveillance, or physical access control systems\nFamiliarity with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright) is an advantage\nTravel Requirements\nNoneRelocation Provided\nNonePosition Type\nExperiencedReferral Payment Plan\nNoEEO Statement\nMotorola Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
