Utilizing Motorola's broad portfolio, the team works within established SLAs to ensure consistent service for our clientele.\nKey responsibilities include the upkeep of a comprehensive video surveillance network, which encompasses fixed cameras, support infrastructure, transport networks, and virtual machines. This position necessitates proficiency in video storage solutions and a thorough understanding of standard industry protocols.\nFurthermore, the role involves managing a voice communications network, requiring technical expertise in RF. The engineer must be capable of diagnosing power stage defects, addressing RF interference, and calibrating passive components like cavity combiners or filters.\nKey Responsibilities \nProvide local support to the customer (in some cases 24/7 on call Service support)\n\nEscalate and follow up on factory incidents\n\nHF component fault detection\n\nParticipate in a call-out rotation\n\nPerform preventative and corrective maintenance routines to ensure proper system operation with focus on trend analysis and documentation of results.\n\nPerform site inspections and functional checks\n\nOperate and troubleshoot remote sites infrastructure\n\nCapacity upgrades/downgrades systems assets\n\nCoordinate with subcontractors for supplemental support\n\nMaintain the installation of the system in compliance with Motorola R56 Standard and Guideline\n\nProvides technical support and consultations for / with the System Integration Centers and clarification of technical issues with the Customer, third parties and within Motorola Solutions.\n\nBasic Requirements\nEngineering Degree (Telecommunications, Electrical, or Electronics).\n\n5+ years of experience in telecommunications, IT, or fixed video systems\n\nEnglish Level: B1 or above\n\nBasic OS administration (Windows/Linux)\n\nKnowledge on Server Management (ESXi, Vsphere)\n\nKnowledge on Networking\n\nFamiliarity with fixed video platforms and VMS (RSTP, RTMP, SRT)\n\nTechnical knowledge of RF, HF, LMR (P25/TETRA/DMR), microwave systems, or AC/DC power.\n\nAutonomy and Empowerment to take increasing responsibilities.\n\nTravel Requirements\nUnder 25%\nTravel Requirements\nOver 50%Relocation Provided\nNonePosition Type\nExperiencedReferral Payment Plan\nYesEEO Statement\nMotorola Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
