Customer satisfaction is given great emphasis and we strive to build a trusted advisor relationship with every customer.\nThe Motorola Solutions team comprises Sales, Project Management, Systems Engineering and System Technologist personnel working together in a high performance culture, often with demanding cycle times and high customer expectations as we work to deploy mission critical communication systems.\nMany of these systems are designed around the APCO Project 25 communications standard, often with interfaces to other critical customers' sub-systems. With the growth of data services some of our customers’ mobile wireless networks are being enhanced with connectivity to an LTE infrastructure, leveraging compelling applications and live mobile video, supplementing our traditional core voice and narrow-band data networks.\nRole Responsibilities:\nLead customer presentations\nSystem staging\nComplete system documentation\nLive system upgrades\nEnsuring the integrity of the architecture/design\nIndividuals will be responsible for carrying out field engineering duties during a radio system upgrade cycle. He/she will be responsible for upgrading/deploying various devices which include network gear, Windows-based devices, virtual machines and Motorola proprietary devices. Along with above duties, individuals will be a customer facing technical resource through the upgrade effort. He/She will be primarily traveling to customer locations in the south central US to carry out their duties.\nSpecific Knowledge/Skills:\nKnowledge in radio communication systems, radio propagation, RF, wireless or broadband/LTE highly desirable\nGood understanding and working knowledge of IP networking, network design methodologies & troubleshooting (Ethernet, TCP/IP, L2/L3, MPLS) highly desirable\nCertifications through CompTIA Network+, Juniper JNCIA-Junos, Nokia NRS1, CCNA or similar, highly desirable\nPrevious knowledge and experience working with some or all of Juniper, Aviat, Cisco, Nokia/Alcatel, Xtreme, Ceragon, highly desirable\nExperience directly working with end-user customers\nExcellent communications skills and the ability to present complex topics to nontechnical audiences\n50-60% travel is required for upgrade projects.\nTarget Base Salary Range - $60,000 to $70,000 USD\nConsistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity.
