I'm looking for a seasoned Senior Android Engineer to join our Mobile engineering group and help harness the latest tools, techniques, and technologies to build a best-in-class experience for our Sellers. Join us in this exciting mission to fundamentally change the way people sell their car.\nAbout the role\nAs a Senior Android Engineer, you'll be responsible for leading the design and implementation of some of our most cutting-edge Android features. Day-to-day, you'll be:\nCollaborating with designers, product managers, and engineers.\n\nArchitecting and implementing complex and interesting app features.\n\nDeveloping and evolving our in-house Server-Driven UI framework, enabling rapid feature delivery and dynamic experiences without app releases.\n\nBuilding and maintaining our mobile infrastructure - CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, App Store deployment workflows, and our automated UI testing platform.\n\nChampioning best practices and the highest standards for mobile engineering.\n\nClosely analysing the details of the UI and overall app experience.\n\nBuilding an understanding of the backend systems that power the app.\n\nAbout you\nWe're looking for someone with:\nStrong experience with Android development and proficiency with the latest mobile platform frameworks and features, including:\n\nKotlin, Jetpack Compose, etc…\n\n0 to 1 experience building and delivering successful products from scratch.\n\nA proven ability to ship impactful, high-scale mobile applications.\n\nExcellent collaboration and communication skills.\n\nDriven, with a bias to action and taking the initiative.\n\nYou could be a great fit if\nYou have experience building complex reusable modules.\n\nYou have integrated modern ML/AI technology into app journeys.\n\nYou thrive when given ownership and autonomy.\n\nYou’re passionate about building the best products possible with the latest technologies available.\n\nBonus:\nYou have practical experience with Server Driven UI\n\nYou have practical experience with A/B testing.\n\nYou have practical experience with full-stack development.\n\nLocation\nHybrid 2 days a week in the office (WFH/London)\n\nOur interview process\nQualifying Screen - 30 minutes\n\nTechnical Interview - 60 minutes\n\nSoft Skills Interview (onsite depending on team) - 60 minutes\n\nYou can expect to hear back from us within a week of each interview stage.
