With deep understanding of all phases of the building lifecycle, it enables us to give our clients the best-informed engineering and innovative solutions.\nJob Description:\nBe in charge for planning and design of all building services elements of the FF / GAS discipline.\nDesign and Calculation knowledge based on NFPA, IS, BS standards. Middle East standards & local regulations.\nKnowledge on other Saudi, Bahrain /Qatar Regulations such as UAE Fire code and SBC Fire code regulations is added advantage & not mandatory.\nKnowledge on ANZ Region & AS standards is an added advantage to work on Australian/Singapore/NZ Region projects.\nEnsure all design / modelling work is carried out in accordance with Company’s quality standard procedures.\nEnsure producing of all design output and seamless coordination between other sections/disciplines.\nEnsure the completeness of design deliverables within time limits.\nKnowledge on Digital Automation of FF services [through Dynamo Scripting / Python Programming is added advantage].\nEffective task management for during project schedules and timelines.\nCandidate Specification:\nCandidate should be B.E./ B. Tech in Mechanical / Fire safety engineering discipline.\nHave 4 to 8 years of experience in Firefighting / Gas services Engineering design and knowledge on other MEP services.\nHave experience in high rise buildings / shopping malls / hotels / metro projects etc.\nHave experience in design of internal / external firefighting systems, sprinkler / spray system, internal and external hydrant system, Fire extinguisher system, Foam sprinkler design and clean agent gas suppression system design and checking of drawings and calculations.\nBe well versed in producing and checking of drawings and calculations.\nGood knowledge of relevant international codes and regulations.\nHandle modelling design independently and work efficiently.\nHave good oral and written communication skills and liaise with clients directly.\nExperience in relevant design software such as Auto CAD, REVIT, Navisworks.\nKnowledge on AECOsim / Open building Bentley software is an added advantage & not mandatory.\nGood Knowledge in any hydraulic calculation software such as Pipe-NET, Elite-Fire is an added advantage.\nMott MacDonald is a leader in the adoption of BIM and therefore the use of Auto desk REVIT / Bentley AECOsim would be highly regarded.\nFlexible working\nAt Mott MacDonald, we support our staff to create work-life balance which works for them and welcome candidates looking for career flexibility.
