This role requires exceptional leadership skills to drive the process, from capture planning through the coordination and development of compliant, compelling responses to RFPs/RFQs, client interviews, and presentations. The successful candidate must effectively convey the messaging identified through capture and prepositioning, including win themes, differentiators, and value propositions, and comprehensively customize all aspects of the proposal. In addition, the Proposal Manager will provide guidance, training, and assistance to the team in effective proposal writing, coordination, and preparation of presentations. Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:\nSupport and facilitate capture planning activities ahead of the release of solicitation documents.\nLead proposal strategy and development of creative, compelling, and targeted proposals across all practices. \nCollaborate with Project Managers and subject matter experts to develop and execute capture plans, win strategies and client-focused value propositions. \nFacilitate coordination with technical staff in developing strategic proposal responses to meet proposal requirements.\nHighlight strengths and differentiators throughout all sections of the proposal and presentations. \nDevelop Requests for Information based on client RFPs/RFQs and collaborate with subconsultant teaming partners for proposal needs. \nCustomize all sections of proposals, including resumes and project descriptions. \nLead and participate in proposal meetings, reviews, and related activities. \nReview proposal drafts and final versions for responsiveness, compliance, accuracy, quality, consistent writing style, and effective layout and design. \nSupport the development and implementation of pursuits and strategic pursuit processes. \nLead the development of proposals and presentations, including key messages, themes, and differentiators. \nConduct storyboarding to drive content plans, develop graphics and layout in line with brand standards. \nBuild and maintain relationships with technical staff, subject matter experts, and prospective teaming partners to promote effective communication and partnerships. \nAssist with presentations, conduct technical staff interviews, archive proposals, and update company/business information. \nWe welcome candidates with the following experience:\nMinimum of 10 years’ experience developing strategic submissions, within the AEC industry. \nBachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Business, or a related field. \nExcellent oral, written, and visual communication skills, including editing and proofreading abilities. \nStrong ability to manage and motivate others, stimulating creativity. \nEffective communication with technical staff and management, fostering collaborative relationships. \nExcellent time and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. \nStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, analytical and general business skills, and the ability to process information quickly and accurately. \nAbility to thrive under the pressure of multiple deadlines while managing projects with diverse team members. \nGoal-oriented mindset with a desire to increase proposal win rate. \nProficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and PowerPoint. \nBenefits & Reward\nAt Mott MacDonald, our employees have a stake and a voice in our business, providing them with a direct connection to our success through our personal and group performance bonuses.
