This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with experience gained in professional services or an accounting firm who is keen to broaden their expertise across a diverse range of financial activities.\nWorking closely with the Finance Manager in Luxembourg and the Group Finance team in Jersey, you will play a key role in the day-to-day financial management of the business. Your responsibilities will span general accounting, treasury management, financial reporting and budget monitoring, giving you exposure to a varied and interesting workload in a fast-paced professional services environment.\nApplications closing date: 8 November 2026\nAbout the role\nIn this role, you'll:\nProcess and monitor day-to-day accounting transactions.\n\nAssist with monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes.\n\nPrepare account reconciliations and support the posting and review of closing entries.\n\nContribute to the preparation of annual statutory financial statements.\n\nAssist with the preparation of tax and regulatory filings.\n\nSupport the day-to-day monitoring of cash flow and banking activities.\n\nPerform bank reconciliations and monitor payments.\n\nContribute to the preparation of financial reports and management information.\n\nParticipate in the ongoing improvement of accounting and finance processes.\n\nAssist in maintaining and updating financial procedures and internal controls.\n\nSupport projects aimed at optimising and automating financial systems and reporting tools.\n\nWork closely with the Group Finance team and other departments across the business.\n\nAssist in liaising with auditors, banks, tax authorities, insurance providers and suppliers.\n\nAbout you - Essential Requirements\nDegree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.\n\n3 to 5 years' accounting experience gained within industry and/or an accounting firm.\n\nSolid knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP and financial close processes.\n\nUnderstanding of tax compliance requirements and financial reporting principles.\n\nAdvanced Excel skills are essential.\n\nExperience with accounting ERP systems would be an advantage.\n\nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively within international teams.\n\nSolid organisational skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work within agreed deadlines.\n\nProven ability to proactively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation to obtain information, resolve queries and ensure timely completion of finance processes.\n\nProfessional working proficiency in English and French is required.\n\nNote to applicants: Background screening requirements for this role will include a European credit check and criminal record check.
