You'll take ownership of matters, build valuable client relationships and play an active role in mentoring junior colleagues, while contributing to the continued success and growth of the team.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer who enjoys delivering pragmatic advice and working in a collaborative, client-focused environment.\nIf you would like to join an ambitious and forward thinking firm whose inclusive culture and values recognise that its people are fundamental to its success, we would love to hear from you.\nApplications closing date: 7 November\nAbout the role\nIn this role, you'll: \nAdvise clients and intermediaries on a broad range of legal matters, providing commercially focused advice and preparing relevant legal documentation.\nReview and provide comments on legal documentation prepared by third parties.\nManage your own caseload and lead transaction-appropriate teams to deliver outstanding client service.\nAct as a key point of contact for clients and intermediaries throughout the lifecycle of a matter.\nSupervise, mentor and support the development of junior fee earners within the team.\nEnsure matters are managed efficiently and in accordance with internal procedures, including engagement terms, due diligence, time recording and billing requirements. Manage competing priorities and communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and intermediaries regarding timelines and deliverables.\nDeliver high-quality legal work accurately and within agreed timeframes.\nMaintain and develop technical expertise through ongoing professional development and continuing education. Support wider team and business initiatives as required.\nAbout you - essential requirements\nRelevant academic and professional legal qualifications, ideally obtained within a common law jurisdiction.\nIdeally a minimum of five year's PQE\nPost-qualification experience within corporate, business and finance, financial services, regulatory, insolvency, restructuring, intellectual property or funds law.\nProven ability to analyse complex legal issues and provide practical, commercially focused advice.\nExcellent drafting skills, with experience preparing and reviewing a broad range of legal documentation.\nOrganisational, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.\nA proactive approach to professional development and a genuine commitment to supporting and mentoring junior team members.\nAny PQE stated in this job description is intended as a guide only.
