Working alongside experienced colleagues, you'll gain exposure to a variety of fund structures and clients, developing technical accounting knowledge and practical experience in a supportive and collaborative environment.\nIf you're detail-oriented, eager to learn and motivated to build a successful career in fund accounting, we'd love to hear from you.\nApplications closing date: 7 November\nAbout the role\nIn this role, you'll:\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records for a variety of fund clients.\nDevelop an understanding of client structures and transactions, seeking guidance and feedback to support your development.\nAssist in the preparation of management accounts, financial statements and other financial reporting deliverables.\nCollate information and documentation required by auditors.\nBuild effective working relationships with clients, auditors and third-party service providers.\nWork collaboratively with colleagues to ensure client expectations and reporting deadlines are met.\nSupport the resolution of accounting queries, providing information and explanations where required.\nEnsure all work is completed in accordance with the firm's policies, procedures and quality standards.\nAbout you - essential requirements\nAn interest in accounting and financial services, with a desire to study towards a relevant professional qualification.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships.\nA collaborative approach and ability to work effectively as part of a team.\nExcellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.\nHigh levels of accuracy and attention to detail.\nDemonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills, with an aptitude for working with financial data.\nA positive, proactive and flexible approach, with a genuine desire to learn and develop.\nWe are committed to providing an inclusive and barrier-free recruitment process.
