Job Summary :
We are looking for a highly specialized Senior Cross-Platform Graphics & Gameplay Engineer with deep expertise in MonoGame, C#, and the .NET ecosystem to build high-performance custom game applications. This role is ideal for engineers who have hands-on experience designing rendering engines, graphics pipelines, gameplay frameworks, and cross-platform deployment using MonoGame (XNA successor). This is not a Unity or Unreal development role. We are specifically seeking developers who have architected games or graphics applications directly on MonoGame/XNA, with full control over rendering, asset management, memory optimization, and platform abstraction.
Key Responsibilities :
- Architect and develop high-performance 2D and 3D applications using MonoGame Framework.
- Build custom gameplay systems without relying on commercial game engines such as Unity or Unreal.
- Design and optimize low-level rendering pipelines including sprite batching, custom shaders, texture streaming, lighting, camera systems, and scene management.
- Develop reusable engine components including animation systems, physics integrations, input abstraction, audio management, and asset pipelines.
- Optimize GPU and CPU performance using graphics profiling and memory analysis tools.
- Build robust cross-platform deployment pipelines for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS, and Console platforms.
- Integrate platform-specific APIs while maintaining a common codebase.
- Write highly maintainable, testable, and performance-oriented C# code following SOLID principles.
- Debug rendering issues, graphics artifacts, synchronization problems, and platform-specific performance bottlenecks.
Technical Skills :
- 7+ years of professional game development experience with MonoGame Framework.
- Expert-level proficiency in C#, .NET, and .NET Core.
- Deep understanding of Graphics Pipeline, DirectX, OpenGL, Vulkan, and Shader programming (HLSL/GLSL).
- Experience designing ECS (Entity Component System), Scene Graphs, Physics Integration, and Resource Management.
- Hands-on deployment experience across Windows, Linux, macOS, Android, and iOS.
