Join our EMEA Accounting Team in Germany or Switzerland as part of the Finance department and play a key role in bringing our business forward and contributing to our continued success.\nSenior Manager Accounting (f/m/d)\nWhat to expect:\nThe Senior Manager Accounting EMEA is responsible for overseeing the accounting function across the EMEA region, ensuring the efficient and accurate management of financial activities, compliance, financial reporting, and internal controls. This role will be responsible for leading and mentoring a high-performing accounting team and works closely with the VP Finance EMEA and global finance leadership to support business growth, regulatory compliance, and strategic decision making.\nLeads and oversees accounting operations, month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for the EMEA region to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting.\nResponsible for the accounting and reporting of 11 European entities to U.S. headquarters in accordance with US-GAAP and regional statutory reporting.\nConduct monthly reconciliations of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.\nCoordinates day-to-day activities and reviews work performed to ensure accuracy, consistency and compliance with company policies and reporting requirements.\nManage the preparation of statutory accounts for the European entities, ensuring compliance with local accounting, and regulatory requirements.\nDrives improvement, standardization, and transformation of EMEA accounting and reporting processes.\nSupports the Oracle Fusion implementation and other finance initiatives that enhance efficiency, compliance, and scalability.\nActs as primary liaison for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with US-GAAP, local statutory requirements, and company policies.\nPartners with EMEA and global leadership teams providing financial analysis, reporting insights, and recommendations supporting strategic decision-making.\nProvides mentorship and leadership to the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nDevelops and maintains a productive work team including hiring qualified personnel, training, and managing performance management, transfer, advancement, and termination.\nManages teams with integrity, ethical business practices, and in accordance with Mouser policies, procedures, and practices.\nManages daily operations to meet department and company objectives.\nFlexible in meeting the changing needs of the business and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments.\nInitiates, establishes and maintains highly effective relationships with internal and external business contacts of various cultures, and at all levels.\nWhat we are looking for:\nBachelor’s degree in finance or a related field.\nProfessional certification in accounting or finance is preferred.\nMinimum of 5 years' of total management experience, including 3 years’ leadership experience in Accounting, with a proven track record of managing and developing teams.\nExpertise in the consolidation of international entities within multinational organizations.\nExtensive knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and applicable accounting standards as well as inventory and cost accounting.\nProfound experience in US-GAAP, ideally complemented by a solid understanding of local European accounting and regulatory requirements.\nSound understanding of tax principles and their impact on financial reporting and business operations.\nStrong understanding of internal controls, risk management, and audit requirements.\nDemonstrated ability to drive process improvements and lead organizational change initiatives.\nStrong experience in financial systems, MS Office and an ERP-System, preferably Oracle.\nHands-on approach, combination of management and personal production.\nAbility to support and collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams.\nStrong analytical skills, attention to detail and profound problem-solving skills.\nExtremely confidential and trustworthy.\nDisciplined, well organized, flexible and prepared to work within deadlines. Works with minimum supervision and makes independent judgments.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the local language.
