This role demands both technical leadership and team management skills to deliver scalable, secure, and performant eCommerce solutions.Key Responsibilities\nLead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable eCommerce platforms and solutions.\nOversee development efforts for storefronts, back-end systems, and middleware integration.\nCollaborate closely with Product Management, Business Stakeholders, and Cross-functional Teams.\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives in architecture, infrastructure, code quality, and team processes.\nDefine and enforce best practices for secure, scalable, and maintainable eCommerce architecture.\nIntegrate third-party systems and services through RESTful APIs.\nOversee middleware strategy and implementation using Boomi, MuleSoft, or equivalent platforms.\nEnsure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality.\nStay current with emerging technologies and evaluate their potential for inclusion in the architecture.\n Required Skills & Experience\n15+ years of overall IT experience, with significant leadership experience.\nIn-depth knowledge of eCommerce platforms: Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), Commercetools.\nExpertise in Order Management Systems such as Salesforce OMS.\nStrong hands-on experience with React, Next.js, and Java.\nProven track record in building and consuming RESTful APIs.\nSolid experience in middleware platforms such as Boomi, MuleSoft.\nDemonstrated ability to lead diverse engineering teams.\nExcellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.\n Preferred Qualifications\nExperience working in a consumer-focused or retail/eCommerce environment.\nCertification in Salesforce Commerce Cloud or MuleSoft.\nExperience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).\nBackground in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.\nMovado Group, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
