Purchasing Associate

Moving Doors is a tech-enabled property management and flexible living company providing fully furnished, design-led apartments for mid- to long-term stays. Operating across Limassol, Paphos and Athens, the company combines hospitality standards with technology and operational excellence to deliver a seamless living experience for guests and property owners.

As we continue to expand, with over 500 units already under management, we are currently looking to recruit a strategic Purchasing Associate to support our team.

This role is responsible for developing and executing procurement processes, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the efficiency and profitability of our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills, operational expertise, and leadership experience to oversee purchasing and logistics across multiple locations.

Requirements

• Actively identify, evaluate, and negotiate with potential vendors to secure quality products and cost-effective terms.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders, entering accurate order details (vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases.
• Maintain up-to-date procurement records, including supplier offers, contracts, deliveries, and invoices.
• Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance, and follow up on order status, delivery timelines, and service quality.
• Coordinate supplier payments by verifying invoices, preparing payment requests, and aligning payment schedules with Finance.
• Oversee the full order lifecycle - from placement to delivery - ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment across suppliers, warehouses, and project sites.
• Plan and coordinate shipments with freight forwarders, manage customs clearance, and ensure proper documentation.
• Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock checks, reorder triggers, and optimized storage in coordination with warehouse staff.
• Handle after-sales issues, warranty claims, and product returns efficiently.
• Support cost analysis for transportation, warehousing, and supplier spend to identify savings and improve efficiency.
• Prepare and present weekly procurement, logistics, and inventory performance reports to management, sharing key insights with the Operations and Design teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Purchasing Officer, Procurement Specialist, or similar role..
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience in vendor management and supply chain operations, preferably with international exposure is a plus
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Fluent in English.
