Movit Products Limited manufactures healthy beauty hair, skin and nail care products aimed at empowering every person to face life with confidence.\n\nJob Summary: The Category Manager is responsible for driving category growth by developing and executing strategic plans to increase brand share, visibility, and consumer loyalty. The role requires deep consumer insights, strong commercial acumen, and cross-functional coordination to deliver profitable and sustainable business outcomes.\n\nKey Duties and Responsibilities:\n\nFunctional Outputs/Activities per key performance area:\n\nCategory Management & Strategy\n\nEnsure brand positioning is clear, consistent, and distinctive while championing brand equity across subcategories.\n\nUtilize consumer and competitive data to guide category strategy, pricing, and innovation decisions.\n\nSupport communication and advertising development aligned with brand values and category objectives.\n\nLead development of category business plans and execution of growth initiatives, including new product development and packaging innovation.\n\nEnsure annual business plans are aggressive, focused, and implemented within budget.\n\nSupplier & Vendor Management\n\nManage relationships with suppliers and negotiate terms, prices, and contracts.\n\nCollaborate with procurement to ensure timely product availability and cost efficiency.\n\nMonitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with company standards.\n\nSales & Financial Performance\n\nMonitor category sales, margin, and profitability against targets.\n\nAnalyze sales data and prepare reports to inform decision-making.\n\nIdentify and implement initiatives to improve category performance and reduce costs.\n\nCross-Functional Collaboration\n\nWork closely with marketing, sales, supply chain, and finance teams to deliver category objectives.\n\nCoordinate promotional activities and product launches to maximize impact.\n\nSupport inventory management and demand forecasting efforts.\n\nQuality Management\n\nEnsure all category products meet quality and safety standards.\n\nMonitor customer feedback and address complaints promptly.\n\nCollaborate with quality assurance and regulatory teams.\n\nStay updated on industry regulations affecting the category.\n\nImplement corrective actions for any quality issues identified.\n\nFinancial Management\n\nPreparation of the Category Department Budget as per the set guidelines\n\nNet Margin Accountability for subcategory\n\nMonitor and control the allocated budget\n\nRisk Management\n\nIdentify risk due to change in Category Consumer Behaviour and trends.\n\nCompliance\n\nEnsure regulatory compliance in execution of activities across the Group.\n\nEnsure adherence to the Movit Group and In Country Policies and Procedures\n\nPrepare and submit Category reports.\n\nQualifications, Skills and Experience:\n\nBachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration or related field. Post Graduate\n\nDiploma in Marketing.
