MP is rapidly evolving from a materials producer into a leading U.S. manufacturer-and our people are driving that transformation.\nPosition Overview:\nThe Facilities Supervisor is responsible for leading the day-to-day execution of facility maintenance, building systems support, custodial operations, contractor activities, and overall site readiness for the Fort Worth Magnetics facility. This position provides direct supervision of Facilities Technicians and Custodians while supporting the Facilities & Maintenance Manager in executing preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, inspections, facility improvement initiatives, and service requests.\nThe Facilities Supervisor ensures facility assets, building infrastructure, and support systems are maintained safely, efficiently, and reliably while coordinating closely with Operations, Engineering, Production, EHS, Quality, and external contractors. This role requires strong leadership, mechanical aptitude, sound judgment, and the ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nLead the daily execution of facility maintenance, custodial operations, and contractor activities across the Fort Worth Magnetics campus.\nSupervise Facilities Technicians and Custodians, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.\nWork with the maintenance planner to prioritize, assign, and monitor preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, inspections, and facility service requests.\nSupport maintenance of HVAC systems, chillers, compressed air systems, boilers, plumbing, lighting, building infrastructure, and general utilities.\nProvide hands-on support for mechanical troubleshooting, plumbing repairs, building repairs, and minor electrical troubleshooting when required.\nCoordinate contractor activities including work scopes, scheduling, permits, site access, and quality verification.\nEnsure accurate work documentation within SAP, including labor, materials, findings, and completion notes.\nSupport 5S initiatives, housekeeping standards, and inspection readiness throughout the facility.\nPromote safe work practices including Lockout/Tagout, PPE compliance, contractor safety, and regulatory requirements.\nIdentify recurring facility issues and recommend long-term corrective actions and reliability improvements.\nCoach, mentor, and develop Facilities Technicians and Custodians while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.\nBasic Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED required.\n10+ years of industrial facilities maintenance or industrial maintenance experience.\n3+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.\nStrong mechanical troubleshooting skills.\nWorking knowledge of HVAC, chilled water, compressed air, plumbing, boilers, and general building infrastructure.\nBasic electrical troubleshooting knowledge and safe work practices.\nExperience coordinating contractors and external service providers.\nExperience using SAP, SAP Fiori, or another CMMS.\nAbility to interpret blueprints, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.\nStrong communication, planning, and organizational skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.\nDesired Qualities:\nSafety-first mindset.\nExcellent organizational skills.\nHigh ownership and accountability.\nEffective communicator and collaborator.\nStrong troubleshooting ability.\nMP Materials is Proud to be an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer - EEO is The Law.
