This is an entry level technical role requiring a wide range of technical skills to provide end user support, environment maintenance and technical implementation projects at our Mine, located in Mountain Pass, CA. This role will also need to provide remote and on-site support for other MP Materials locations. \nPosition Responsibilities:\nInstallation of Windows Operating Systems, including PC imaging and deployment\nThe Ideal candidate for this position will possess 1-3 years of IT Support experience (Desktop, PC Tech)\nConfigure and deploy IP telephony and unified communications software and devices (Microsoft Teams)\nUpdate and maintain inventory and I.T. documentation.\nPerform technical environment reviews.\nConfigure, support, and troubleshoot Apple iOS mobile devices.\nCreate tickets using ticketing procedures and follow escalation procedures.\nIncident validation - alarm verification (i.e., log into devices once an alarm is received to ensure it’s not a false positive, and escalate as necessary)\nOpen and manage cases with 3rd party vendors (Dell, Lenovo, Microsoft, etc.)\nTicket follow up and quality assurance.\nNight and weekend support coverage and project work as necessary\nEscalate tasks to senior support team members.\nOther tasks as required\nRequired Experience:\nAssociate degree in computer science or combination of certification and 2+ years related experience.\nExtensive experience with PC hardware set up and installation.\nExtensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system\nFamiliarity with Microsoft PowerShell\nExperience configuring, managing and troubleshooting Apple iOS devices.\nFamiliarity with Active Directory and Office365 user and permissions management\nUnderstanding of Virtual Private Networks\nFamiliarity with basic networking concepts (TCP/IP switching and routing, DHCP, DNS, SNMP)\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail\nExcellent customer service, written and verbal communication skills.\nSelf-directed and highly motivated\nMP Materials is Proud to be an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer - EEO is The Law\nAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
