We offer career growth opportunities as a fast growing company in a high demand industry.\nSummary of Responsibility:\nReporting to the Fabrication Manager, the Fabrication Technician will perform tasks related to the production of sheet metal components and weldments. This individual is also responsible for finishing operations to facilitate the completion of said components. Also, verify that components are free from defects or inconsistencies upon completion and are packaged appropriately prior to release to production.\nThis position provides an opportunity in a high growth business in manufacturing. We are looking for a motivated individual with the ability to successfully operate in a team setting.\nWhat You Will Contribute:\nReview and follow production work orders and any associated paperwork, ie. Schematics, work instructions, production orders.\n\nOperation of fabrication area equipment:\n\no CNC Press brake - job programming, tool setup and operation\no CNC Plasma table - job programming, material handling, machine maintenance\no Manual Mill & Lathe - work holding, turning and milling operations\no Material cutting equipment- operation of cold saws, band saws, and handheld plasma\nOperation of welding equipment with process knowledge of GMAW, GTAW, STAW\n\no Determine appropriate processes and process parameters\nOperation of finishing line equipment\n\no Steam cleaning equipment, powder coating equipment, electric ovens\nPromote safe work habits and maintain a clean and orderly work environment.\n\nFollow Safety guidelines, expressed or otherwise informed.\n\nAble to lift <50lbs as an individual\n\nFollow proper testing and safety procedures\n\nProper use of hand and powered tools daily: angle/die grinders, drills, sanding/polishing equipment\n\nOther Functions:\nPerform related duties as required\n\nPay Range: $20.00-$28.00 per hour\nThe duties listed above are intended only as illustration of the various types of work that may be performed.
