enterprise applications.\nKey Responsibilities\nInfrastructure & Platform Engineering\nDesign, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise Linux-based infrastructure environments.\nAdminister and optimize Red Hat/OpenShift and Kubernetes container platforms.\nManage Linux virtual machine environments across VMware, KVM, or cloud-based virtualization platforms.\nImplement highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable infrastructure architectures.\nPerform capacity planning, performance tuning, and infrastructure optimization.\nKubernetes & OpenShift Administration\nBuild and maintain Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters for production and non-production environments.\nConfigure ingress controllers, networking, storage classes, service mesh, operators, and cluster security.\nAutomate deployment pipelines and container lifecycle management.\nImplement GitOps and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.\nTroubleshoot cluster performance, node failures, networking issues, and container runtime problems.\nAutomation & DevOps\nDevelop automation solutions using Ansible for provisioning, patching, configuration management, and application deployment.\nBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting microservices and distributed platforms.\nStandardize deployment and operational processes through scripting and automation.\nIntegrate security, compliance, and operational controls into deployment workflows.\nData & Streaming Platform Support\nAdminister and support Apache Kafka clusters including brokers, topics, partitions, replication, and security.\nSupport Apache Flink streaming data platforms and real-time processing pipelines.\nManage Cloudera/Spark ecosystems for distributed data processing workloads.\nOptimize distributed compute and data platforms for performance and resiliency.\nSupport data ingestion, streaming, and large-scale analytics environments.\nMonitoring & Observability\nImplement enterprise monitoring, logging, and observability solutions using Splunk and related tooling.\nDevelop dashboards, s, and operational metrics for infrastructure and application monitoring.\nConduct root cause analysis and incident troubleshooting across distributed systems.\nSupport production operations, incident response, and problem management activities.\nSecurity & Compliance\nImplement infrastructure hardening, RBAC, secrets management, and container security best practices.\nSupport enterprise security standards, vulnerability remediation, and compliance initiatives.\nEnsure operational reliability, backup strategies, and disaster recovery readiness.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).\n6+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Engineering roles.\nStrong expertise in Linux systems administration (RHEL).\nHands-on experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes administration in enterprise environments.\nExtensive experience with Ansible automation and Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies.\nStrong experience supporting Kafka, Flink, MongoDB, and Spark/Cloudera platforms.\nExperience managing Linux virtual machines and virtualization platforms.\nExperience with CI/CD tools and automated deployment pipelines.\nStrong scripting skills using Bash, Python, or similar languages.\nExperience with monitoring and logging platforms such as Splunk.\nStrong troubleshooting and performance tuning capabilities across distributed systems.\nPreferred Experience Areas\nEnterprise-scale distributed systems\nFinancial services or high-availability environments\nReal-time data streaming platforms\nLarge-scale containerized environments\nBehavioral
