We're looking for someone who thrives at the intersection of software engineering, data engineering, and real-world implementations, creating scalable systems that transform raw data into actionable insights.\nWe specifically seek engineers who bring an engineering mindset to software development - those who approach problems with the systematic, analytical thinking that comes from engineering training. As part of our team, you'll architect and develop applications that handle large-scale data processing, working with modern cloud platforms and visualization tools to deliver comprehensive analytics solutions that support engineering design, analysis and optimization.\nDuties/Responsibilities\nBuild Data Applications: Develop high-performance applications using C++, C#, Java, or equivalent languages for data processing.\nDesign Data Pipelines: Create and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines that process large volumes of data efficiently.\nCloud Platform Development: Build and deploy data solutions on AWS using services like S3, EC2, Lambda, and data analytics tools.\nAnalytics Integration: Implement visualization and reporting solutions that make complex data accessible to stakeholders.\nPerformance Optimization: Ensure applications can handle high-throughput data processing with optimal performance.\nCross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with the remainder of the engineering team to implement a solution which fits all needs of the client.\nQualifications\nU.S. Citizenship is required.\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in an Engineering Discipline.\nExperience\nTwo (2) or more years of software engineering experience.\nProficiency in C# and Python.\nUnderstanding of database systems and data modeling concepts.\nComfortable working with both structured and unstructured data.\nStrong problem-solving skills for both performance and scalability challenges.\nExperience building data processing pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows preferred.\nHands-on experience with AWS data services and cloud architecture preferred.\nFamiliarity with data visualization platforms and reporting systems preferred.\nExperience building production applications that process significant volumes.\nExperience building user-facing applications with data backends preferred.\nProficiency in C++ preferred.\nSkills\nThe ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies while multitasking.\nAbility and interest to stretch beyond current experiences and into new areas of software engineering.\nExcellent communication skills, both written and oral.\nAbility to work collaboratively across functional teams.\nExceptional time and project management skills.\nAbility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.\nPersistent, questioning attitude and ability to accept that in others.\nMotivated to expand skills and knowledge, as well as tackle new problem and take on new responsibilities.\nAbility to participate in multiple projects and project teams concurrently.\nMPR Associates, Inc. is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer, who participates in E-Verify.
