We're a focused innovation team within a large organization, operating with startup agility to develop B2B solutions that will transform how the nuclear industry handles critical document analysis and AI verification.\nAs a key member of our small, high-impact team, you'll be building full-stack AI applications from the ground up, starting with document analysis and verification tools that will expand into a broader suite of mission-critical energy sector applications.\nDuties/Responsibilities\nBuild from scratch: Architect and develop new AI-powered applications using modern full-stack technologies.\nAI/ ML Integration: Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems for intelligent document processing and analysis.\nFull Stack Development: Work across the entire technology stack, from front end user interfaces to backend AI services.\nCloud Infrastructure: Deploy and manage applications on AWS using services like ECS, S3, Bedrock, API Gateway, and Route 53.\nDomain Impact: Create tools that enhance efficiency in the nuclear energy sector.\nRapid Innovation: Move quickly in a small team environment where contributions directly shape product direction.\nQualifications\nU.S. Citizenship required.\nEducation\nBachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline.\nExperience\nFour (4) or more years of software engineering experience.\nProven experience building production applications.\nExperience with docker containerized applications.\nExperience with document processing, NLP, or knowledge management systems preferred.\nExisting experience working in highly regulated industries preferred.\nExperience with FastAPI, Asyncio, and boto3 preferred.\nExperience with Terraform IaC for AWS preferred.\nProficient in or eager to learn: Python, TypeScript/React, RAG/ Vector Databases, and/ or AWS\nSkills\nThe ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies while multitasking.\nExcellent communication skills, both written and oral.\nAbility to work collaboratively across functional teams.\nExceptional time and project management skills.\nAbility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.\nPersistent, questioning attitude and ability to accept that in others.\nMotivated to expand skills and knowledge, as well as tackle new problem and take on new responsibilities.\nMPR Associates, Inc. is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer, who participates in E-Verify.
