The DevOps Engineer III is a key member of the engineering team, responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the company's DevOps strategy. This includes collaborating with development, operations, and infrastructure teams to implement processes, tools, and practices that enable the continuous delivery of high-quality software. The DevOps Engineer III is also responsible for contributing to the design and deployment of scalable, highly available infrastructure and systems. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of technical challenges and contribute to the company's ability to deliver value to its customers.\nDuties/Responsibilities:\nSupport the development and implementation of the company's DevOps strategy\nWork with development, product, and the rest of the DevOps team to ensure that software is delivered to production quickly and with confidence\nContribute to the design and deployment of scalable, highly available infrastructure and systems on AWS using Hashicorp suite of tools; Nomad, Consul, Vault and Terraform\nCollaborate with engineering teams to ensure that their work is integrated into the company's DevOps pipeline in a seamless and efficient manner\nAssist in the management of the company's source code repository on Github and enforce best practices for code review and branching\nMonitor the health and performance of the company's production systems and troubleshoot issues as they arise\nParticipate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide after-hours support and incident response for critical production systems\nCollaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure that the company's DevOps processes and infrastructure meet industry standards and regulations\nProvide guidance to DevOps Engineer I, II and serve as team mentor\nPerform other duties as assigned\nSkills/Abilities/Experience:\n5+ years of experience with DevOps practices, tools, and technologies, including experience with continuous integration, deployment, and delivery\nUnderstanding of cloud computing platforms, particularly AWSExperience with deploying and managing infrastructure on these platforms using tools such as Github Actions, Nomad, Consul, Vault, and Terraform\nExperience with managing source code repositories, particularly Github, and adhering to best practices for code review and branching\nUnderstanding of Linux/Unix systems and experience with shell and python scripting\nExperience with monitoring and troubleshooting production systems\nExperience with security and compliance in a DevOps environment, including an understanding of industry standards and regulations\nExperience working with healthcare data is beneficial\nStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience\nCommunicates and collaborates with product developers, direct manager and engineering peers to develop the correct solution\nIs responsive to assigned Bugs / hotfixes\nHas successfully completed and released production code\nDemonstrates ability to describe mPulse business and client base\nContributes regularly to technical discussions\nHas demonstrated repeated technical project success\nMakes effective use of development environment and tools\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to stand and sit for an extended period of time\nWhy mPulse? \nRemote-First & Flexible PTO — work from wherever you're most productive 100% Company-Paid Employee Coverage - Medical, dental, and vision plans with a 100% company-paid employee-only option, plus company contributions toward dependent coverage and company-paid life and disability insurance. 401(k) + 4% Match — with financial advisors to help you plan 6 Weeks Parental Leave Invest in You — 30-60-90 day plans and frequent training Culture of Recognition — peer-to-peer bonuses & team celebrations\n\nEqual Opportunity: mPulse is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
