This role plays a key part in validating financial records, supporting operations, and contributing to management reporting.\nResponsibilities\nIndividual must be able to perform the essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.\nPerform month-end and year-end close processes. \nPrepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger analysis. \nAnalyze operational and corporate income statement variances to identify and explain fluctuations or outstanding items. \nManage accounts payable and receivable functions as assigned. \nMaintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation. \nSupport audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries. \nEnsure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies. \nCollaborate cross-functionally with other departments (e.g., FP&A, Operations, Supply Chain, HR) to ensure proper financial treatment of transactions. \nStay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices. \nParticipate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned. \nEducation & Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. \nMinimum 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field in lieu of education. \nCPA or progress toward relevant certification (preferred but not required). \nSkills & Abilities\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. \nExcellent attention to detail and organizational skills. \nProficient in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and capable of researching and applying accounting standards. \nProficient in Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet tools. \nStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer service mindset. \nAbility to meet tight deadlines and work scheduled or unscheduled overtime as needed. \nWorking Conditions\nPrimarily office-based, with most
