Works closely with branch leadership to ensure productivity and safety expectations are met.\nResponsibilities\nIndividual must be able to perform the essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation:\nInterpret/communicate & train safety policies/practices to ensure safe workpracticesare followed.\n\nUnload material, tools, and equipment from vendor trucks.\n\nInspect material for quality requirements.\n\nStocking andtransferringmaterial, tools, andequipmenttothe appropriate shelf, bin, rack, or pipe bundle by a predetermined sequence, includingbindinglocation, size, type, style, and length.\n\nMarkthematerial withthecorrectinformation.\n\nTransfer material to and from stock package orders inboxesand pallets asrequired.\n\nAssemble customer orders from stock and package orders in boxes and pallets asrequired.\n\nPull orders for delivery and stock-to-stock transfer.\n\nLoad ontothe correcttruck or transfer tothe packingarea using a forklift, overhead crane, and heavy equipment.\n\nEnterappropriate inventory(incoming and outgoing) information intothe SIMSsystem, usinga handheldscanner asappropriate.\n\nMaintain site inventory byassistingwithinventory audits.\n\nReviewing various periodic reports,such as traffic and mill test reports.\n\nPrepare documentation for UPS, LTL, SH, or Air shipments.\n\nAssistPipe Yard/Warehouse Manager/Supervisor in delegating daily duties and assignments to warehouse personnel.\n\nLead and directPipe Yard/Warehouseassociatesin workduties when needed.\n\nEstablish working rapport with local management, corporate employees, and other branch personnel using proper phone etiquette and other effective interpersonal skills.\n\nAdhere to MRCGlobal’sethicspolicy andholdothers accountable for behavior that isconsistentwith MRC ethicalstandards.\n\nTake reasonable care for the safety and health of yourself and others.\n\nReport workplace hazards, injuries, or illnessesimmediately.\n\nQualifications\nAny combination of requirements which provide knowledgeand abilitiesnecessary toperform willbe considered.\nHigh School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree).\n\nMust have a current, valid driver’s license and acceptable record at all times.\n\nOne (1) year experience in pipe yard and/or warehouse environment.\n\nDemonstrated communication and interpersonal skills with leadership qualities.\n\nAdditional Qualifications\nMust have the ability to provide documentation verifying legal work status.\n\nAbility to read and speak the English language proficientlyin order tocommunicate with others,understand and interpret safety instructions,and respond to inquiries.\n\nAbility to understand andcomply withMRC guidelines & expectations,to includeCode of Conduct and
