offerings.\nResponsibilities\nIndividual must be able to perform the essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.\nProvide technical assistance and support for customers regarding technical specifications of products, and troubleshoot applications as needed.\nAble to size pneumatic and electric actuators for use on valves.\nUnderstand the customers’ business and determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions.\nEnter and maintain purchase orders, customer orders, procurement matches, and trade discounts as needed.\nMaintain various records and files including rebate files, stock transactions, price catalogs, customer lists, product catalogs, and discounts.\nMaintain knowledge of current product pricing.\nObtain price quotes from vendors and Supply Management Groups for resale to customers and provide price quotes for customers.\nEstablish rapport and provide prompt responses to internal and external customer, vendor, and branch inquiries about material and the sales function (including warehouse errors, shortages, and damaged material).\nMaintain and approve quality standards.\nSet up the correct description of all inventory items.\nAdd new inventory to the system as needed.\nLearn new procedures and product information as required.\nMaintain various records and files, including rebate files, stock transactions, price catalogs, customer lists, product catalogs, and discounts.\nAvailable to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime as requested (including on-call).\nPerform other duties or projects assigned.\nTake reasonable care for the safety and health of yourself and others.\nReport workplace hazards, injuries, or illness immediately.\nQualifications\nAny combination of requirements that provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform essential duties and responsibilities will be considered.\nAn undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience that provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.\nStrong knowledge of PVF products, reasoning, analytical, math and reading skills.\nAny combination of two or more years in customer service, inside sales and/or warehouse services in a position with increasing responsibility, to include demonstrated sales experience.\nDemonstrated competence in the use of computers and software applications.\nDemonstrated ability to communicate and promote ideas and transfer detailed knowledge to others.\nWillingness and ability to travel within and outside the region regularly.\nMust have a current, valid driver’s license and acceptable record at all times.\nAdditional Qualifications\nMust have the ability to provide documentation verifying legal work status.\nAbility to read and speak the English language proficiently in order to communicate with others, understand and interpret safety instructions, and
