stocking, and delivery functions for the branch, ensuring safe and on-time product delivery to MRC Global customers, and work closely with branch management to meet the budgetary and operational goals of the branch.\nResponsibilities\nIndividual must be able to perform the essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.\nAdhere to required MRC Global Safety Training policies and guidelines, provide safety training to warehouse personnel and ensure safety measures are followed by all Warehouse personnel. \nAssure proper maintenance and appearance of fleet and compliance with fleet safety and DOT regulations. \nInspect physical conditions of warehouse/pipe yard and equipment, and order testing, maintenance, repair, or replacement as necessary. \nMaintain warehouse cleanliness in compliance with OSHA and safety policies. \nManage all warehouse duties including shipping, receiving of materials, stocking, and pulling products for shipment; and all functions required for the pipe yard. \nCoordinate communication between the warehouse and the sales office to ensure efficient and timely deliveries. \nVerify all incoming and outgoing shipments and ensure that daily cycle counting and other inventory management functions are performed timely and thoroughly. \nOversee preparation and follow-up for Warehouse Assessment process. \nPerform warehousing duties and emergency delivery runs to customers as required by the branch’s needs. \nAssure security of warehouse and grounds. \nMotivate and challenge Warehouse employees, delegate tasks to staff, monitor progress, measure results, and coach staff on performance. \nMaintain appropriate employee documentation files. \nTrain or obtain training for employees to handle assigned tasks as needed. \nDevelop and promote internal employees and recruit new employees as needed. \nCommunicate and administer company policies to all employees throughout the branch. \nEstablish and maintain good rapport with internal and external customers through effective communication and providing prompt 24-hour support. \nMaintain confidential information pertaining to supervisory duties, operations, and contract information. \nAssures compliance with company business processes. \nTake reasonable care for the safety and health of yourself and others. \nReport workplace hazards, injuries, or illnesses immediately. \nPerform other duties and projects as assigned. \nQualifications\nAny combination of requirements that provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform essential duties and responsibilities will be considered.\nHigh School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) and additional related training and direct experience in a material, PVF, or related material distribution operation. \nFour (4) years’ experience working in a warehouse or closely related environment. \nTwo (2) years of supervisory experience or demonstrated capability to supervise (warehouse-related supervision preferred). \nAbility to operate and become certified on forklifts, order pickers, cranes, and other typical warehouse material handling equipment. \nDemonstrated in-depth knowledge of basic warehouse functions and procedures. \nMust have a current, valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record at all times, and the ability to travel as needed to MRC branches and customer locations upon request. \nDemonstrated competence in the use of computers and software applications. \nAdditional Qualifications\nMust have the ability to provide documentation verifying legal work status. \nAbility to read and speak the English language proficiently in order to communicate with others, understand and interpret safety instructions, and respond to inquiries. \nAbility to
