and appropriate welding processes to join, surface, fabrication of metal or other weldable materials to assemble structures.\nResponsibilities\nIndividual must be able to perform the essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.\nSet up equipment and weld metal parts together, using GMAW, SMAW, GTAW & SAW processes.\n\nUse equipment such as a cutting torch or carbon air torch to unite different parts of steel structures.\n\nMust be required to pass employer performance tests or standard tests to meet certification standards of professional and technical associations.\n\nPractice good housekeeping skills and properly dispose of waste according to safety and environmental policies.\n\nUnderstand and follow safety policies and procedures.\n\nPerform other duties and projects as assigned.\n\nTake reasonable care for the safety and health of yourself and others.\n\nReport workplace hazards, injuries, or illnesses immediately.\n\nQualifications\nAny combination of requirements that provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform essential duties and responsibilities will be considered.\nMinimum of five years of experience in welding fabrication of structural steel and verified structural weld test and/or demonstrated ability to perform basic skills according to testing requirements.\n\nMust have a current, valid driver’s license and an acceptable record at all times.\n\nAdditional Qualifications\nMust have the ability to provide documentation verifying legal work status.\n\nAbility to read and speak the English language proficiently in order to communicate with others, understand and interpret safety instructions, and respond to inquiries.\n\nAbility to understand and comply with MRC guidelines and expectations, to include Code of Conduct and Conflict
