The Disability Account Manager will serve the role of evaluating records to complete requested disability paperwork to whom is a direct contact to both the patient and the medical facility and will provide the necessary documentation in order for the patient to be relieved from work on both Short & Long Term basis.\nResponsibilities\nAct as a main contact for communicating and collaborating with assigned accounts\nReviewing and verifying FMLA and Disability forms for validity and compliance with HIPAA/HITECH/etc.\nVerifying patient information within assigned accounts’ EMR systems by using key patient identifiers to ensure that all records to be reproduced are for the correct patient and scope requested.\nConfirming request information and requesting additional documentation from patients/requesters to process pending forms.\nPulling and completing forms while ensuring accuracy and compliance with MRO Clinics policies/procedures as well as state/federal regulations.\nFollowing and performing workflows specific to assigned accounts\nProviding and logging detailed and accurate information on each form processed in accordance with MRO Clinics policies/procedures\nUpdating and maintaining an accurate Accounting of Disclosures for all activities and processes associated with the completion of forms.\nProviding world-class customer service to patients and clients while ensuring patient privacy.\nHandling high call volumes while maintaining a high level of service and professionalism.\nMaintaining all established production/quality goals, while managing assigned accounts within MRO Clinics established turn-around time.\nReports to the Director of Disability as necessary.\nQualifications\nThorough and detail-oriented\nProfessional demeanor\nCustomer oriented disposition\nDemonstrate a positive attitude, and be able to interact well with employees\nDemonstrate excellent communication skills\nProven consistent dependability and attendance\nConfidentiality and discretion is required\nAbility to conduct and interpret HIPAA/Privacy Guidelines\nSolid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management\nThe flexibility to adapt to frequent changes in the industry and office\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.\nTotal CompensationBase pay is one element of the total compensation package.
