In this role, you’ll lead and support the design and implementation of mechanical and plumbing systems for a variety of building and infrastructure projects. That means when you join our team, you’re not just doing a job - you’re building your legacy and sharing in the success of the firm.\n\nA Culture of Mentorship and Collaboration: Work alongside a talented, cross-disciplinary team that values mentorship, professional development, and team success.\n\nA flex time program that empowers you to manage your schedule - because life doesn’t always fit inside 9 to 5\n\nA flexible work environment, including hybrid and remote options where possible, to support your productivity and well-being\n\nResponsibilities\nWhat you will do:\nLead the design and development of mechanical and plumbing systems from planning through construction.\n\nPerform and review engineering calculations, reports, and construction documents with accountability for quality and accuracy.\n\nManage technical tasks, monitor project scope, schedule, and budget, and coordinate deliverables with internal teams and external partners.\n\nConduct field investigations, site visits, and construction observations to ensure design intent and compliance.\n\nServe as a client contact, leading meetings and communicating project updates with professionalism and sound judgment.\n\nMentor junior engineers and technical staff, providing guidance and review of design work.\n\nUtilize software tools such as Microsoft Office, CADD, BIM, and modeling platforms to produce design deliverables.\n\nQualifications\nWhat you bring:\nBachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited program in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.\n\n4+ years of post-graduate engineering experience, preferably in mechanical or plumbing design.\n\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license in Florida required; multi-state licensure may be beneficial.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, CADD, BIM, and relevant modeling or analysis software.\n\nStrong technical writing, communication, and problem-solving skills.\n\nDemonstrated ability to lead project components and coordinate multidisciplinary efforts.\n\nEffective mentoring, time management, and organizational skills.\n\nThe selected candidate must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
