This position is on our Public Works Service line and works closely with a wide variety of Iowa municipal clients as a project manager for civil engineering projects. Flex Time is a benefit for salaried staff that recognizes when you work over 40-hours in a work week and anything over 40-hours in a week converts to future time off that you can use.\nWhy MSA?\nInnovation and Impact: Work with cutting-edge technology and make a real impact on the built environment.\nCollaborative Culture: Be part of a supportive team where your contributions are valued and your growth is nurtured.\nEmployee-Owned: Benefit from our 100% employee-owned ESOP program and share in the success you help create.\nDiverse Projects: Every day is different with a wide range of projects that challenge and inspire.\nResponsibilities\nYour mission:\nClient relations including attendance at client meetings and interaction with existing and new clients\nProject management including project planning, scoping, budgeting and QA/QC\nDesign of public works infrastructure projects\nAssist with mentoring junior engineering staff\nPreparation of plans, details, specifications, and bidding documents\nPreparation of technical reports and regulatory permits for projects\nAdministration of construction on public works infrastructure projects\nQualifications\nWHAT YOU BRING\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related) required\n5+ years of prior experience within the Public Works market serving multiple clients required\nPE license strongly preferred\nExperience in managing multiple projects and client needs required\nExtensive knowledge of regulations and requirements within Iowa preferred\nExperience with funding and grants available to municipalities preferred\nThe selected candidate must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future. We are unable to provide or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this role.\nThe salary for this position ranges from $88,871 to $142,194 per year commensurate with experience.
