Consultants look to develop deep linkages with our clients and help clients make best usage of our products in the context of their investment, asset management or risk process and their business goals.\nThis role is a highly visible one, with involvement in all aspects of an account including senior level relationship management, product demonstrations, users training and education, and client experience enhancing activities such as presenting at client workshops, seminars, and webinars. In this role, individuals will work very closely with sales, global client service, marketing, research and product management.\nSuccessful candidates will have a thorough knowledge of real estate market and financial industry, highly analysis skills and an ability to guide institutional clients to better use our products for assessing risks and making investment decisions. The successful candidate must be adaptable, able to lead efforts to solve clients' problems.\nThe work of the Client Consultant is really engaging, rewarding and motivating as it is placed at the heart of the real estate financial industry and requires both strong analytical and communication skills. The culture of innovation is strong and the team spirit very welcome.\nYour Key Responsibilities\nThe MSCI Real estate client consultant ensures its clients receive valuable services from MSCI, maximizing their take up of relevant services. MSCI Client Consultants work closely with MSCI Sales, Client Service and Product Management teams. Responsibilities include:\nManage relationships within our France BeLux client base; work closely with senior client executives & fund managers; implement strategic plans to ensure client retention. \nDevelop expertise in MSCI products as well as latest real estate trends and regulatory landscape to provide clients with Best Practices guidance. \nIdentify opportunities to increase client usage of our products and identify new users.\nWork closely with the sales team on potential up-selling and cross-product selling opportunities. Assist in campaigns on new product placement. \nProactively engage with clients to keep them informed of our product road map with a view on how our development efforts will help them achieve their business goals; proactively solicit client feedback regarding future product development. \nWork with internal functional teams to ensure that all clients requests / inquiries are managed appropriately. \nRespond to detailed client enquiries about methodologies and analysis; hold advanced client training / workshops; present in seminars. \nBased in our Paris office, travel to client locations across France, Belgium and Luxembourg may be required.\nYour skills and experience that will help you excel\nExperience helping to develop and pitch investment opportunities, investment strategies, portfolio reviews, asset budgets internally to Portfolio Manager teams or Investment Committee or investors\nSuperior analytical, written & verbal communication presentation, problem solving, time management and negotiation skills \nStrong team skills and emotional maturity, with proven ability for independent work and self-teaching\nAbility to work in a cross functional environment\nExperience working for an Asset Owner, Asset Manager, Listed Real Estate company or real estate consultant in research/strategy, portfolio management, acquisitions, asset management or investor relations \nUnderstanding of the global real estate investment industry, financial markets and investment processes \nRelationship management experience \nFluent in French and English.
