The team owns the design, delivery, and long-term integrity of enterprise storage platforms - NetApp ONTAP and Pure Storage - across multiple global datacenters, cloud environments, and regional offices. Working closely with compute, networking, and application teams, the team drives platform strategy, technology adoption, and engineering-led automation across the storage estate.\nYour Key Responsibilities\nDesign and implement automation for storage provisioning, capacity management, and operational workflows using Python, Bash, and IaC tooling (Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent).\nDrive reduction of manual toil through scripted workflows and self-service enablement; own the automation backlog for the storage domain.\nBuild REST API integrations against storage platforms (NetApp ONTAP, Pure Storage) and develop reporting tooling and scripted operational pipelines.\nContribute to storage DR strategy implementations, platform upgrade workflows, and post-change validation - executed and validated largely through automation.\nDesign and implement Kubernetes-attached storage via Astra Trident, including persistent volume strategy and protocol selection.\nEngage business and application stakeholders on capacity planning and platform roadmaps; produce engineering documentation, architecture decision records, and runbooks.\nOwn RCA delivery for storage-related incidents and drive permanent fix implementation through safe change practices.\nYour skills and experience that will help you excel\nCore (essential):\nStrong proficiency in Python for infrastructure automation - REST API integrations against storage and network platforms (NetApp ONTAP, Pure Storage, Cisco MDS), reporting tooling, scripted operational workflows.\nSolid Linux systems skills - shell scripting, service management, troubleshooting in enterprise Linux environments (RHEL/OEL/Debian).\n Bash scripting for scheduled jobs, log parsing, and operational tooling.\nComfortable operating across both Agile delivery and BAU contexts; familiar with ITIL practice areas and enterprise ITSM platforms (ServiceNow preferred).\nStrong communication skills, able to translate technical depth into stakeholder-facing outputs; experience producing architecture documentation and runbooks in a globally distributed environment.\nNice to have (can be developed on the job):\nFamiliarity with enterprise storage platforms such as NetApp ONTAP (C-Mode, SVM, SnapMirror) and/or Pure Storage (FlashArray, FlashBlade) - deep expertise is not required on day one; solid platform grounding will develop through hands-on work.\nWorking knowledge of SAN protocols (iSCSI, FC, NFS/CIFS) and SAN fabric management (Cisco MDS zoning and host masking).\nExposure to Kubernetes storage concepts (Astra Trident, PVC/PV lifecycle).\nExperience with IaC tooling (Terraform, Ansible) in a GitOps model.\nAbout MSCI\nWhat we offer you\nSalary range: HUF 24,000,000 - 26,000,000 / year plus eligible for annual bonus \nTransparent compensation schemes and comprehensive employee benefits, tailored to your location, ensuring your financial security, health, and overall wellbeing.\nFlexible working arrangements, advanced technology, and collaborative workspaces.\nA culture of high performance and innovation where we experiment with new ideas and take responsibility for achieving results.\nA global network of talented colleagues, who inspire, support, and share their expertise to innovate and deliver for our clients.\nGlobal Orientation program to kickstart your journey, followed by access to our Learning@MSCI platform, AI Learning Center , LinkedIn Learning Pro and tailored learning opportunities for ongoing skills development.\nMulti-directional career paths that offer professional growth and development through new challenges, internal mobility and expanded roles.\nWe actively nurture an environment that builds a sense of inclusion belonging and connection, including eight Employee Resource Groups.
